What’s good! My name is Manny (DJ Manny O). I am a bilingual DJ originally from Los Angeles, but I’ve been bringing the heat to San Diego since 2016! My passion for music started at an early age. My family is from Panamá, so growing up in a Latino household I was introduced to Salsa, Cumbia, and Rock en Español from an early age. Any time I walked into my house, you could hear the sounds of trumpets and conga drums echoing throughout. As a child, I used to spend every afternoon at my grandparent’s house. I would sit with my grandfather for hours and watch him put cassette tapes into his boombox to record, while using his record player to mix together different songs into one cohesive sound. I was hooked. I got the bug and attended as much live music as I could. This led to attending my first Grateful Dead show and the rest is history!

I immersed myself in live instrumentation and began playing Trumpet. I began creating my own music, culminating in the release of two EPS and a debut album.​ In my twenties, I had saved up enough money to purchase my first mixer and controller. And since then, I have had the honor to mix at many different clubs, events, parties and even a festival or two, across all of Southern California.

Whether I'm spinning for an intimate lounge or a festival crowd, my goal is always the same: to move people—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—through music. With years of experience behind the decks and in the studio, I bring professionalism, passion, and a unique, multicultural perspective to every set. I hope to see you at your next event!
