The Davies Jazz Experience: Jazz Noir is the signature sound and aesthetic of award-winning San Diego jazz vocalist Erika Davies. With more than 25 years as a professional vocalist and a deep-rooted history in the San Diego jazz scene, Erika brings an authentic, sophisticated approach to jazz, infused with soul, romance, and vintage style. Jazz is her life, not her costume—a genuine musical language she has spent decades developing and performing. Her velvet-toned voice and expressive phrasing extend naturally into old-school R&B and blues, all delivered with the same emotional depth and distinctive Jazz Noir style.

Inspired by the elegance of Old Hollywood and the timeless beauty of classic American song, Jazz Noir creates an atmosphere that can be tailored to any setting—from intimate evening performances to sophisticated daytime gatherings, brunches, luncheons, weddings, and private events. Whether performing solo with guitar or piano, or with a sophisticated trio or quartet, Erika brings timeless, soulful music and effortless elegance to every occasion.
