Specializing in classic rock, folk rock, 60s - 70s singer/songwriter, Caribbean/Buffett, Motown and more, Joe Rathburn has become a downtown San Diego music institution by being the guy who has performed at The Tin Fish Gaslamp (now Baja Rick’s Cantina) restaurant before nearly every Padres home game since 2004 (81 dates a year). Aside from that, he has earned his living making music since 1972; releasing original recordings, performing concerts, opening shows, and producing several performance series, most recently The Folkey Monkey Songwriter Showcase (2005 – 2022). He’s also in demand for corporate functions, and private events.
